Beginning Aug. 1, Michigan law required that schools consider using Restorative Practices in addition to or in place of suspension or expulsion. Are you prepared to follow the law?

Our SRPC® Training leverages the organic relationship between PBIS/MTSS and restorative practices, both of which are whole-school models designed to encourage and increase positive student behaviors and mitigate unwanted behaviors through positive reinforcement and relationship building.

SRPC® Training includes:

  • A comprehensive introduction to restorative practices
  • A strategy for introducing restorative practices into your MTSS framework
  • A look at restorative practices at every tier, and actionable approaches to MTSS & RP
  • An introduction to Restorative Action Plans, designed for intensive intervention for Tier 3 behavior issues
  • Take-home resources and workbook
  • Hands-on, collaborative learning activities

This comprehensive training is designed to help administrators, teachers and other school stakeholders incorporate restorative practices into their existing PBIS/MTSS framework by:

  • Recognizing and preventing potential behavior issues
  • Creating a universal plan to address behavior issues
  • Teaching person-centered approaches and language
  • Building restorative practices skills for all staff members
  • Documenting student behaviors
