Do you know or work with an assistant principal who should be considered for the Assistant Principal of the Year award? We welcome and encourage nominations of assistant principals who might be deserving of this year's honors.

Nominees must have served as an Assistant Principal at one or more middle or high schools for at least TWO full years. He or she must also be a current MASSP member. While one winner will ultimately be selected by committee and honored in June at EdCon 2013, all nominees will be notified.

In addition, the Michigan winner is eligible for the National Assistant Principal of the Year award. He or she will also be honored at a forum and banquet held each year for all State Assistant Principals of the Year in Washington, D.C. This event salutes assistant principals and provides an opportunity for them to share best practices and expertise with each other.

Take 10 minutes right now to recognize an assistant principal you know and all the hard work he or she does to help keep the school and students heading in the right direction!
