Grant Funded Training Opportunity

In partnership with MEMSPA and MASSP, Western Michigan University is applying for an i3 grant focusing on training principals on data-informed decision-making in order to improve student achievement.
Western plans to have two cohorts of principals involved in this training, and the process for each cohort lasts two and a half years. As a participant in the grant, each principal would attend workshops, would have access to mentoring, and would receive practice in data-informed decision-making in his or her own school. The grant will also pay for training and coaching for principals. Finally, each participant will be provided a $3,000 stipend to be used for facilitating the implementation of data-informed decision-making in your school, graduate credits from Western Michigan University, or other professional purposes.
If you are interested in being considered for this program, please take our three-minute survey, which you can access by clicking on the following link, or copying and pasting the URL into your browser: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ParticipateWMUProject. If Western secures funding for the grant, MASSP will randomly select 60 principals to participate from among the applicants. If you have any questions, please email Dr. Jianping Shen from WMU.
