This starts with the hiring processes and strategies that are in place to ensure the long-term success of our educational systems. We will engage with one another to explore the practices used to help ensure we are hiring the "right" educator for the role, the individual who will help move thinking forward with a focus on students. Meet Our Moderator:
Steve Seward (@sewardstephen) joined the MASSP as the Associate Director in April 2016. Steve began his career as an early elementary educator, teaching both kindergarten and first grade in Thornapple Kellogg Public Schools. He then then went on to become an instructional coach in Cedar Springs Public Schools. After two years Steve began working with district administration and was named the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. Steve is a National presenter in the areas of leadership, coaching, classroom pedagogy, data dialogue, Professional Learning Communities, district transformation and systems alignment.
