Principal of the Year Nominations Sought

One of the ways to keep our profession strong and vital is to celebrate the many fine principals that belong to the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals. The application form for the 2008 Middle Level and High School Principal of the Year, the Assistant Principal of the Year, and the CTE Adminstrator of the Year is now available.

This year's application has be updated to more closely match the NASSP/Metlife Principal of the Year application.

Key Features

• Expanded eligibility for the award by moving the required time in the position from five to three years.
• Added the NASSP selection criteria that is based on Breaking Ranks II and Breaking Ranks in the Middle
• Included the ranks by requesting a letter from a fellow principal

The application is due by June 30, 2008. It's time to recognize and celebrate the talented, hardworking principals of Michigan!
