School safety continues to be on the forefront of every educator’s mind these days. To assist in keeping students, staff and buildings safe, many administrators are utilizing Michigan’s OK2SAY program.

OK2SAY is the free, statewide student safety program that allows students and community members to confidentially report tips on potential harm or criminal activities directed at schools, students and/or employees. OK2SAY uses a comprehensive communication system to facilitate tip sharing among students, parents, school personnel, community mental health service programs, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and law enforcement officials about harmful behaviors that threaten to disrupt the learning environment.
