MASSP, along with the other members of the Michigan Higher Education Talent Roundtable (MIHEART), invite you to join us for a Talent Summit on Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mackinac Room at the Anderson House Office Building in downtown Lansing. Participants will learn how and why Michigan must win the talent race, as well as hear the critical policy and budget priorities for a new Administration and Legislature.

Why? Only 44% of Michigan citizens have earned a valuable credential beyond a high school diploma, including associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, and technical certificates. States with high postsecondary attainment rates have attracted jobs by equipping workers with the credentials they need and that employers demand for the work of today and tomorrow.

The Talent Summit is hosted and co-sponsored by 15 organizations who make up MIHEART, including Michigan's business, education, higher education, philanthropic and government leaders. To learn more about MIHEART and/or Total Talent, visit micollegeaccess.org/advocacy/miheart.
