The Court of Appeals has upheld the temporary restraining order preventing the ORS from implementing the recently passed MPSERS reform legislation. This means that the MPSERS rate will temporarily jump up to 25.36% until the issues are resolved. The Department of Human Services announced that it is implementing a new policy that ties a family's ability to draw down state cash assistance to their school attendance of ALL children in the family group.
