Data Analysis Protocol Workshop 2.0 (@ Muskegon)

If you've attended MASSP's PSAT/SAT Data Protocol Workshops in the past, then you already know you are in for a great day! Join us for our new and improved session!

In our 2.0 workshop we will still spend a little time getting into the portal and looking at strengths and weaknesses - note that the PSAT/NMSQT results are in the reporting portal, so you will be able to use that data if you choose. We will also do two new protocols to look at achievement gaps. Once you've identified your academic problem areas - we will introduce you to some new resources that have been vetted for alignment to the MMC and SAT.

The KEY thing to note is that we've added a TON of new things to the workshop - it would be valuable to bring a counselor and your ELA/MATH chairs, if at all possible. We will be covering

  • Accessing AP Potential reports for students,
  • How teachers can set-up remediation classes in Khan Academy; why all students should have linked College Board and Khan Academy Accounts
  • How students can take 7 full length practice SATs and score them
  • A College/Career exploration tool from the College Board called Big Future
  • A preview of the new parent resources we've created for your ready-made parent PSAT/SAT parent night.

This is a great workshop with all the usual things you've come to expect from MASSP:

  1. You will get the PowerPoint slides, so you can replicate what we do with your staff.
  2. You will get all of the new handouts we've created to replicate activities with students, staff and parents.
  3. You will feel confident that you can lead this work with your school community.
