Personal Curriculum documents up for review
A quick guide to the Personal Curriculum is on the MDE website for review. You, the building administrator, play a major role in the process. At the first reading, it doesn’t look like there is a lot that deals with the principal directly. However, in practicality, the definition and supervision of the Personal Curriculum will likely fall right in the principal’s lap. It will be important to advocate with your superintendent to have a role in shaping the process for granting and monitoring the Personal Curriculum.
Please read the guidelines and offer suggestions. The folks from special education are offering many suggestions to make it more friendly to their needs.
