Program Overview

Our goal is to provide candidates with an alternative route to earning a K-12 administrator certificate at an affordable cost and in a manageable timeframe through a program developed by principals, for principals.

The program's high-quality coursework is built on the Michigan Standards for the Preparation of School Principals, the Michigan School Improvement Framework and the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISSLC) and presented in an online format that will include mentoring and the building of a professional portfolio. A pre-test for placement and an end-of-program assessment will be administered by the internationally recognized and respected testing organization ETS.
