Path to Leadership: Candidate Prerequisites

| All program candidates will have served in positions of leadership and hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree, but not currently meeting certification requirements. All candidates will complete an application that will require college transcript(s); a professional portfolio, inclusive of resume and related leadership and professional experience; ELAS test score; and a copy of his or her administrative contract (if applicable).
Once accepted to the program, candidates will work with assigned mentors to complete an Individual Development Plan (IDP) to assist with his or her personal growth along with meeting program objectives. As part of program completion, all candidates will participate in sessions designed to assist with successful completion of the SLLA exam.
