Grade 12 students who have not yet qualified for any Michigan Promise scholarship (first time testers and those students who recevied an invalid MME score in at least one subject) must take the complete MME in Grade 12 to be eligible for the Michigan Promise. No other Grade 12 student is eligible to take the MME.
The companion legislation regarding taking the ACT to qualify for the installment payment is still pending, but my understanding is that it will be the ACT only and does not include the writing component. Since the legislation is still pending no qualifying scores have been determined at this time.
